Strengthening partnerships to protect East Asian seas web2Environment ministers and government representatives of 11 countries reaffirm their commitments under the auspices of the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) to intensify and harmonize actions to save coasts and oceans through the Iloilo Ministerial Declaration. The Declaration, entitled, “East Asian Region Moving as One to Secure Healthy Oceans, People and Economies” was signed Thursday at the Sixth Ministerial Forum held in conjunction with the East Asian Seas (EAS) Congress held in Iloilo City on November 27-29, 2018.
