Foresters of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Liloy headed by CENR Officer Dionisio B. Rago celebrated the International Day of Forests through a tree growing activity on March 21 at the Gatas ENR Station Eco-park, Gatas, Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte.

About 200 seedlings of indigenous species composed of Mayapis (Shorea palosapis), Almaciga (Agathis philippinensis Warb), Narra (Pterocarpus indicus), Molave (Vitex parviflora), and Lauan (Shorea negrosensis) were planted along the riverbank within the eco-park.
