CENRO Kabasalan Release Wildlife Species

Personnel of DENR-IX CENRO Kabasalan, headed by Deputy CENRO DMO IV For. Reynaldo C. Cuaresma, together with the staff of DENR, PENRO Sibugay Conservation and Development Section released a wildlife species commonly known as Rufous Night-Heron (Nycticorax caledonicus) on March 3, 2023 at Barangay Pangi, Municipality of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay in observance of “World Wildlife Day” 2023 with the theme "Partnerships for Wildlife Conservation”.

WWD is an annual event aimed at raising awareness about the world's wild animals and plants, the threats to their survival, and their benefits to people and the planet.
