Aside from R.A. 9147 or the Wildlife Resources Conservation Act, Wildlife permitting was also discussed as well as the importance of conserving and protecting the Marine Turtles, as this barangay is very close to Triton Island, the known nesting site in the area. Salient points on R.A. 11038 or the eNIPAS act was also discussed to the audience since Vincenzo Sagun is among the 6 municipalities that comprises the Dumanquillas Bay Protected Seascape and Landscape (DBPLS).

After the series of lectures, “Totong the Kitong”, the mascot of DBPLs, was introduced to the crowd to encourage them to continue to help protect natural resources including the wildlife within the protected area and to always be reminded that a healthy environment relies greatly on mankind’s responsible management. After Totong’s appearance, coastal clean up and scubasurero activities were conducted. A total of 7 sacks of plastic trash and other non-biodegradable materials were collected and were disposed by their barangay solid waste management team.
