CENRO Siocon personnel facilitated the tree-growing activity of Sta. Maria National High School faculty, staff, and scouts for the 5th Council Wide Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) Camporal 2023: Cultivating a Greener Tomorrow, in the Mangrove Area of Barangay Sta. Maria in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte on October 7.

Before the tree-growing activity, a short orientation on the importance of mangrove and the proper planting of mangrove propagules was given by Forester John David T. Timtim. A total of 150 mangrove propagules were planted by 123 participants.
