ZDS Gov. Victor J. Yu, together with In-charge, Office of the Regional Executive Director Ronald D. Gadot and Acting Regional Director of the Registry of Deeds Atty. Samrollah M. Dekireh, led the awarding of Agricultural Land Titles to 27 qualified recipients from the City of Pagadian, 2 each from the municipalities of Tambulig and Ramon Magsaysay, and 11 from the municipality of Guipos.

Also present during the activity were ZDS PENR Officer Diomedes M. Pablo, RM CENR Officer Geoffrey Zayas, and Guipos CENR Officer Felipe H. Callorina, Jr.

Agricultural free patents are land grants awarded to natural-born Filipino citizens in actual occupation and cultivation for at least 30 years of alienable and disposable lands of not more than 12 hectares, and have paid the corresponding real property taxes.

The Handog Titulo program is a joint effort of DENR, Local Government Unit, and the Registry of Deeds that fast-tracks the processing and disposition of land titles and strengthens the agency's linkages with its stakeholders.
