Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Undersecretary Atty. Jonas Leones underscores the need to sustain the agency’s partnership with the University of the Philippines in bringing about a new breed of environment leaders during the launch of the ‘U.P. Program for Environmental Governance’ or UP-PEG on Monday (Jan. 18) at the UP Bahay Alumni in Quezon City.  The program, comprising of six modules, seeks to strengthen the competence of environmental authorities, especially those at the forefront of implementing government programs and policies on natural resources development and environmental protection.  Also in photo are (seated, from right) U.P.
