Members of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Team (DRRMT) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) place a "victim" on a stretcher before moving him to the designated evacuation area during the nationwide earthquake preparedness drill Thursday. Capt. Joebert Q. Tolentino, Jr., chief of the Training and Response Office of the Disaster and Emergency Responders International (not in photo), who oversaw the activity, said the evacuation clocked in five minutes and 32 seconds, well within the ideal time of seven minutes from the end of the siren until the last person passed through the safe zone. ###
