 CENRO-Dapitan City manages over a total of 55,410 hectares of forestland within the 1st Congressional District of the Province of Zamboanga del Norte comprising seven (7) municipalities namely, Rizal, Polanco, Pinan, Sibutad, La Libertad, Mutia and the City of Dapitan The 55,410 hectares forestland consists of 16,339 hectares of production and 39,011 protection forest.  The Department of Environment and Natural Resources have a considerable responsibility to maintain a diversity of opportunities for the many environmental and public demands. We envision a nation enjoying and sustaining its nature, clean and healthy environment.

The total land area of CENRO Dapitan is  about 134,622 hectares, 59 % is classified as Alienable & Disposable Land, 41 % is classified as Forest Land.  The survey ,management and disposition of A and D lands is the mandate of the Bureau of Land Mgt. Sector and the major activities include the conduct of cadastral survey, mgt. of foreshore areas and processing and issuances of land titles as well as investigations and resolution of land cases including rights conflicts of public land applicants. This year the patent distribution has increased, wherein the sector is in the forefront of the government effort to promote social equity by distributing public agricultural lands to the rural masses.

Free Seedlings! (Falcata and other indigenous trees available)

Submit a letter request indicating number of seedlings (max of 1,000 seedlings per request) and sketch map of the proposed plantation.
