New Administrative Building Inaugurated at CENRO Guipos

            The DENR Field office of the 2nd Congressional District of Zamboanga del Sur inaugurated their New Administrative building last Septemebr 23, 2016. The ribbon cutting ceremony was done by Regional Director Arleigh J. Adorable, PENR Officer Tito L. Gadon, State Auditor Remegio Suico, CENR Officer Vitaliano Q. Valdez, Jr and Forester II Juliet Loriche along with Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Ronald D. Gadot.

               It was also attended by the 53rd Infantry battalion personnel headed by Major Jun Ganitnit and SB Member Tata Villarta of LGU Guipos. The prayer and blessing was officiated by Rev. Fr. Rey Mutia, Parish Priest of Lourdes Parish Church who also included blessing the Technical Office Building.


After the blessing ceremony, everyone gathered inside the new building for a short program. CENRO Valdez gave his welcome address and expressed his gratefulness for providing the office with a comfortable place for the employees and also for the clients and welcomed everyone who join the inauguration. Tito L. Gadon, the PENR Officer of Zamboanga del Sur also gave a message emphasizing the task of the employees in the field office to work closely with the local government unit in order to give a better service to our community in protecting, preserving and managing our environment and its natural resources. ARD Ronald Gadot was also glad to see the building inaugurated and hoped that as how comfortable and cozy the office building is, its employees will also have harmonious relationship and be able to give genuine public service. SB Member Tata Villarta, representative of LGU Guipos was also glad to attend the inauguration and recalled how honoured they were when DENR decided to put up a CENR Office in their municipality and ended his message congratulating the CENR office in behalf of the local government unit of Guipos. The Regional Director Arleigh J. Adorable gave an inspiring message as he reiterates the Guiding Principle of Secretary Gina Lopez’ Administration. First was on being Truthful as he urged everyone to do their job anchored on truth, as he said “When you are truthful you are giving good service” which relates to the second principle, Service, where he punctuated the special role of the employees as public servants being paid by the people to serve the people, therefore it is essential that we provide a proper service to the stakeholders by learning to love our work “ For when we love our work, work is work no longer”, said Director Adorable. He also added that our parents sacrificed a lot for our education in order for us to land a good job and for us to be inculcated with the right values of Public service, may we not waste this work opportunity by being truthful and efficient in rendering service to the public. Lastly, he asked everyone to base all their actions for the Common Good, that , being the last guiding principle. He said we must do our tasks not simply because we are instructed to but we have to make sure that our work will make a noticeable impact to the people we are serving. He ended his message encouraging the employees of CENRO Guipos as they inaugurate their new building to have a new principle and a new vision guided by the Principles of the new administration.

After which was the closing remarks of For. Alicia Dimaporo who thanked the VIP’s, colleagues from the regional office, PENRO, CENRO RM, the Peoples Organizations and everyone present for attending the memorable occasion.
